1998

Proactive was founded as a maintenance-focused engineering business, established to support the local Brisbane industry with hands-on mechanical expertise.

2014

We were bought by our current owners James and Kristy, who expanded our machine shop capabilities and operations.

2016

Proactive was proud to officially become a member of the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA).

2022

We marked a major milestone by exporting our very first piece of custom-built packaging machinery internationally, which was shipped to New Zealand.

2025

Proactive continued our growth by exporting our first machine to the United States, taking advantage of the demand for Australian-made solutions.

Machine Building Workshop

This is a dedicated Stainless Steel Workshop, offering TIG welding, automation control, and fitting services. It is primarily used for our own product (manufacturing bespoke machinery), however still has the capacity to service the requirements of our customers outside of this industry.
