
About Leila
Leila completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours at Griffith University in 2025. She is the mother of a young boy who recently started school, and enjoys staying active and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Leila is a passionate occupational therapist who takes a client-centred, occupation-based approach to practice. She values building rapport and fostering trusting professional relationships with clients and their families. She is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their goals, participate in meaningful activities, and engage in the things they want, need and are expected to do. Supporting people in becoming the best versions of themselves while maintaining their quality of life is at the heart of her practice.
Leila has diverse experience working with people who are vision impaired across the lifespan. She has also gained clinical experience working with children and maternal mental health, supporting mothers during the postpartum period at Mater Hospital as part of a multidisciplinary team.
