Our occupational therapists provide on-site support to early learning services nationwide, with training and recommendations tailored to the needs of your educators and children.

In-House Support for Educators

Our occupational therapists can assist with:

• Creating calm, sensory-friendly learning environments
• Setting up classrooms to support children’s regulation and engagement
• Managing common behavioural concerns, including biting and separation anxiety
• Building educator confidence through practical training and ongoing support
• Recommending appropriate resources, tools and strategies

Support can be provided weekly, fortnightly, monthly or as needed.

Kindy Uplift funding may be available to cover the cost of these services. We recommend checking your centre’s funding eligibility.

Circle of Security Training

Circle of Security training is delivered by a clinical psychologist and helps educators better understand children’s attachment and emotional needs.

The training supports educators to:

• Build safe, trusting relationships with children
• Respond to challenging behaviour with greater confidence
• Recognise and support children’s emotional needs
• Create calmer, more connected learning environments

When children feel safe and secure, they are better able to learn, develop and engage with others.
