Overview
The ‘Educational and Learning Assessment’ package is the package to choose when your child is having difficulties including learning difficulties, reaching educational goals, ADHD related concerns, emotional and/or social difficulties. The assessment helps you to understand the reasons for your child’s difficulties and other factors that may be impacting your child’s learning.
In this package, we complete a cognitive assessment that reviews your child’s learning styles and identifies their strengths and weaknesses. Academic Achievement testing is conducted as part of this assessment.

- Written report with findings and recommendations

How it works
Assessment Process
The assessment process is broken into clear sessions so the clinician can gather background information, complete the required assessment tasks, prepare the report and discuss the results with you.
Session 1: Parent / Guardian Intake Session
1 hour session. Information gathering session.
No children are to attend the intake session This can be conducted in clinic or via Telehealth.
Session 2: Child Assessment Session
2 hour session. Cognitive Assessment with Child using WISC-V Must be conducted in clinic
Session 3: Additional Assessment Session
3 Hour session. Academic Assessment with Child using WIAT-III Must be conducted in clinic
Session 4: Parent / Guardian Feedback Session
1 hour session. In clinic or via Telehealth.
Report timeframe: 2 to 3 weeks from assessment date
Comprehensive Report
The clinician completes scoring, interpretation and report preparation after the assessment sessions.

Report and Fees
Please note that there is a two to three week turn around for report writing. Total cost: $3700.
A $550 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This assessment is not covered by Medicare.
If you have private health insurance, please contact your provider to see how much they can cover for you. The private health code for assessment is 100.
