Our approach adheres to the gold standard in Autism assessment, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each individual’s unique neurodivergent profile. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a distinctive neurological variation that can manifest in both children and adults.

Not included
Medicare rebates may be available for eligible autism assessments with a valid specialist referral.
How it works
Assessment Process
The assessment process is broken into clear sessions so the clinician can gather background information, complete the required assessment tasks, prepare the report and discuss the results with you.
Session 1: Parent / Guardian Intake Session
2 hour session. Information gathering session utilising the MIGDAS-2 or ADI-R.
No children are to attend the intake session. This can be conducted in clinic or via Telehealth.
Session 2: Child Assessment Session
2 hour session. Cognitive Assessment with Child using WPPSI-IV or WISC-V Must be conducted in clinic.
This is essential for an accurate diagnosis
Session 3: Additional Assessment Session
1 hour session. Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, 2nd Edition (ADOS-2) Must Be Conducted in clinic
Session 4: Parent / Guardian Feedback Session
1 hour session. In clinic or via Telehealth.
Report timeframe: 2 weeks from assessment date
Comprehensive Report
The clinician completes scoring, interpretation and report preparation after the assessment sessions.
What to expect
Report and Fees
Please note that there is a two week turn around for report writing. Total cost: $3390.
A $550 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Medicare rebates for autism assessments are available for individuals aged 24 years or younger, provided that the assessment is referred by a paediatrician or psychiatrist.
Alternatively, if you have private health insurance, please contact your provider to see how much they can cover for you.
