How it works
Assessment Process
The assessment process is broken into clear sessions so the clinician can gather background information, complete the required assessment tasks, prepare the report and discuss the results with you.
Before the Appointment
You will be sent pre-assessment questionnaires to complete before your appointment. You will also be asked to nominate a parent, partner or trusted adult who knows you well to complete collateral questionnaires.
ADHD Assessment Interview
A psychologist completes a thorough interview to assess symptoms and relevant history. The interview also screens for overlapping factors such as past substance abuse, trauma, bipolar presentations and other co-occurring conditions.
Collateral Information
Where possible, a partner, parent or trusted adult may be invited to provide additional information so the psychologist can build a fuller picture of your history and current functioning.
