The assessment considers how you manage daily activities in familiar environments such as home, work and community settings.

How it works
Assessment Process
The assessment process is broken into clear sessions so the clinician can gather background information, complete the required assessment tasks, prepare the report and discuss the results with you.
Session 1: Assessment Session
2 hour session with an Occupational Therapist (OT). This includes a review of your current goals in your NDIS plan, or the development of goals if you are applying for NDIS.
The session also reviews your current supports, background information and ongoing goals.
Session 2: Feedback Session
1 hour session. This can be completed in clinic or via Telehealth.
Report timeframe: 4 to 8 weeks from assessment date, depending on complexity.
Comprehensive Report
The clinician completes scoring, interpretation and report preparation after the assessment sessions.
What to expect
Report and Fees
A comprehensive report is provided including scoring and interpretation of the BADS, addressing NDIS Goals, current supports, NDIS Criteria and summarising all assessment results. Total cost: From $2070.
A $550 non-refundable deposit or signed NDIS Service Agreement is required at the time of booking. This assessment is not covered by Medicare.
