We are looking for an experienced, passionate Senior Psychologist to join our thriving multidisciplinary team. Less experienced psychologists are also welcome to apply if they have experience working in a private practice setting.

You will work with children, teens and adults, supporting neurodivergent clients, complex families and trauma presentations. We foster a culture of integrity, inclusivity, growth, communication and fairness. At our clinic, you are valued, supported and given opportunities to thrive.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based therapy, including CBT, DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, IFS, EMDR and Psychodynamic approaches.
  • Work with neurodivergent individuals, including clients with Autism and ADHD.
  • Provide trauma-informed care.
  • Support families in complex situations, including separation, blended families and attachment trauma.
  • Provide optional assessments, including Autism, ADHD, cognitive and learning difficulty assessments, if of interest.
  • Collaborate with caregivers and other professionals as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
  • Work with diverse referral pathways, including NDIS, Medicare and private paying clients.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Registered with AHPRA as a General, Clinical, or Educational and Developmental Psychologist.
  • 2+ years post-registration experience in a busy private practice setting.
  • Strong therapy skills, time management and documentation abilities.
  • Strong understanding of ethical and legal considerations, especially when working with minors and complex families.
  • Proactive, independent and passionate about making a real impact.
  • Able to adapt therapy to developmental needs. Playfulness is key when working with children.
  • Desirable: EMDR training, Clinical endorsement, or Educational and Developmental endorsement.

What We Offer

At our well-established private practice, we are real, we are human, and everyone matters. You’ll be part of a compassionate, neurodivergent-affirming team where growth, connection and work-life balance are priorities.

  • Competitive salary and stability: Secure a consistent weekly paycheck, plus paid leave and benefits. No stress over fluctuating bookings, just financial peace of mind.
  • Full admin support: We handle diary management and payment processing, so you can focus on your clients and professional development.
  • Flexibility and work-life balance: Choose your schedule with manageable KPIs depending on your experience and pay expectations.
  • Established referral network: A steady caseload with clients matched to your expertise and passion.
  • Ongoing learning and support: Monthly whole-team meetings with Speech, Occupational Therapy and Psychology, plus a supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • A beautiful work environment: Newly renovated clinic, sensory gym, staff breakout area, library and secure parking, with access to a gym and sauna.
  • A fun, supportive culture: Connect with your team over lunch, foosball, arcade games, social events and team hangouts throughout the year.
  • Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, marshmallows, biscuits and plenty of treats are provided.
  • Birthday cake on us, because you deserve to be celebrated.
