We are looking for an experienced Senior Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our thriving multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a confident clinician who is passionate about supporting children and families through engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy.
You’ll work within a compassionate, neurodivergent-affirming clinic alongside Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and other Speech Pathologists. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior clinicians and contribute to the ongoing development of our speech therapy resources and programs.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy to children and families.
- Conduct assessments, including tools such as CELF-5 and PLS-5, and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Deliver therapy across clinic, school and home settings, where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of Psychologists and Occupational Therapists.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings and clinical resource development.
- Mentor and support junior clinicians and early-career Speech Pathologists.
- Manage your caseload effectively, including documentation, reporting and ongoing client care.
Who We Are Looking For
- A kind, proactive and collaborative clinician who values teamwork and compassion.
- A degree-qualified Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia membership.
- 4+ years’ experience as a Speech Pathologist, ideally in a paediatric or private practice setting.
- Experience supporting paediatric developmental conditions, such as Autism, ADHD and Down syndrome.
- Strong assessment, therapy, clinical reasoning and report writing skills.
- Familiarity with NDIS, Medicare and client funding systems.
- Capacity and interest in mentoring junior clinicians.
- Blue Card, Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening, and Driver’s Licence.
